We’re all just here trying to have a good time....but also afford rent, food, gas, utilities and then some. So let’s make it happen! I’ve put together a few cocktails I’ve either added my own flare to, or have created from the get go! Enjoy them today.
1) Lavender G+T
What You Need:
- 1 Bottle Gin
- 1 Cucumber
- 1oz Lavender
- Tonic Water
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $10 Seagram’s Gin
- $4 1oz Lavender
- $0.59 1 Cucumber
- $4 10pk Tonic Water
Total = $18.59 ÷ 15 = $1.24 per drink
Instructions:
Infuse 1 oz lavender into gin. Leave overnight. Skin one cucumber. Gently slice 1 long skin thin slice of cucumber and adhere to wall of glass. Add ice to glass. Pour 1.5oz of lavender gin (strained) and 7oz tonic water and enjoy.
2) Whiskey Sour
What You Need:
- 1.5 oz Whiskey
- 5oz Sour Mix
- 1 Egg White
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $10 Evan Williams Whiskey
- $8.99 Tres Agaves Sour Mix
- $3.00 Carton of Eggs
Total = $21.99 ÷ 15 = $1.47 per drink
Instructions:
Pour 1.5oz of whiskey into a shaker. Add 1 egg white. Pour in 5oz of sour mix. Add some ice. Shake until foamy. Pour into a cup and enjoy.
3) PB & J
What You Need:
- 1.5 oz Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
- 1oz Lemon Juice
- 4oz Naked Juice Blue Machine
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $29.99 Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
- $4.00 Lemon Juice
- $7Naked Juice Blue Machine 64oz bottle
Total = $41 ÷ 15 = $2.73 per drink
Instructions:
Pour all components together in a strainer. Add ice. Shake and strain into martini glass.
4) Japanese Lemonade
What You Need:
- 1.5oz Vodka
- 1oz Lychee Liqueur
- 6oz San Pellegrino Lemonata
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $10 750mL New Amsterdam Vodka
- $13 Bols Lychee Liqueur
- $5 12 pk San Pellegrino Lemonata 11.6oz each.
Total = $28 ÷ 15 = $1.87 per drink
Instructions:
Pour all components together in a glass with ice. Stir and enjoy.
5) Kentucky Paloma
What You Need:
- 1.5oz Whiskey
- 0.5oz Simple Syrup
- 1oz Grapefruit Juice
- 6oz Club Soda
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $10 750mL Evan Williams Kentucky Whiskey
- $2.49 60oz Grapefruit Juice
- $6.50 1lb Cane Sugar
- $1 2 litres Club Soda
Total = $19.99 ÷ 15 = $1.33 per drink
Instructions:
Make simple syrup with 1 part sugar cane 1 part water. Boil on stove and stir until solids dissolve. Let it cool and save part for later. Stir all components together in cup with ice. Enjoy.
6) Sunday Bloody Sunday
What You Need:
- 1.5oz Vodka
- 4 dashes of Cholula Original
- 4 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Celery Stock
- 6oz V8 Tomato Juice
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $10 750mL Svedka Vodka
- $2.99 Cholula Original
- $1.29 Worcestershire Sauce Kroger
- $6 Celery Stocks
- $7 128oz V8 Tomato Juice
Total = $27.28 ÷ 15 = $1.82 per drink
Instructions:
Mix together vodka, Cholula, Worcestershire and tomato juice with ice. Add celery stick when stirred together.
7) Mexican Bay Breeze
What You Need:
- 1.5oz Tequila
- 3oz Cranberry Juice
- 3oz Pineapple Juice
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $12 750mL Jose Cuervo Silver Tequila
- $3 60oz Cranberry Juice
- $2.87 48oz Dole Pineapple Juice
Total = $17.87 ÷ 15 = $1.19 per drink
Instructions:
Mix together tequila, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice with ice in a glass.
8) Old Fashioned Daiquiri
What You Need:
- 1.5oz Rum
- 1oz Lime Juice
- 1oz Simple Syrup
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $10 750mL Bacardi Silver Rum
- $4 1 bottle lime juice
- $6.50 1lb Cane Sugar
Total = $20.50 ÷ 15 = $1.37 per drink
Instructions:
Make simple syrup with 1 part sugar cane 1 part water. Boil on stove and stir until solids dissolve. Let it cool and save part for later. Pour all components into a shaker with ice. Shake until very cold, strain and pour in glass.
9) Manda's Moscow Mule
What You Need:
- Mint- 4 leaves
- Vodka- 1.5oz
- Ginger Beer- 5oz
- Lime Juice- 0.5oz
How Much It Will Cost (15 servings):
- $8 Mint
- $10 750mL of New Amsterdam Plain Vodka
- $14 for 50oz Ginger Beer
- $4.00 Bottle of Lime Juice
Total = $36 ÷ 15 = $2.40 per drink
Instructions:
Muddle min with vodka and lime juice. Add ice and pour ginger beer over. Mix together. You can also shake without the ginger beer, strain into a glass with ice, then pour over ginger beer.
